Kaspa as a foundation, not a barrier

A Kaspa messenger for identity, messages and KAS

KBeam does not use Kaspa to force every private message into public storage. The wallet provides a cryptographic identity; KAS payments, proofs and selected on-chain functions are added where they provide real value.

Fast Push or Kaspa depending on purpose

01

The wallet becomes a cryptographic identity

A Kaspa wallet can do more than manage KAS. Its keys enable signatures, ownership proofs and a cryptographic identity. KBeam uses that foundation for contacts, encryption, KBeam Auth and optional payments.

The user does not need to provide a real name, phone number or email address for a central account.

02

Not every piece of content belongs on a public BlockDAG

Private everyday communication needs fast and lightweight delivery. Fast Push can transport encrypted messages without requiring the user to buy KAS. The BlockDAG is especially useful when value transfer, public proof or selected programmable processes matter.

This separation keeps Kaspa from becoming an entry barrier while the wallet remains the shared cryptographic foundation.

03

Kaspa currently runs at 10 blocks per second

Kaspa is a live proof-of-work BlockDAG. Following the Crescendo upgrade, mainnet runs at ten blocks per second. For KBeam, this open and fast-confirming infrastructure is particularly relevant to payments, proofs and future programmable functions.

Roadmap topics such as Toccata and later Wallet V2 functions are clearly separated from features available today.

FAQ

Questions about KBeam and Kaspa

Is every KBeam message stored on Kaspa?

No. KBeam separates private communication from on-chain functions. Messages can be transported encrypted through Fast Push; Kaspa is used for identity, payments, proofs and selected functions.

Do I need KAS to chat?

No. Ordinary text, voice, photo and video messages do not require a KAS balance. KAS is an optional capability for payments and Kaspa-specific processes.

Is KBeam a Kaspa wallet?

KBeam combines a messenger with a self-custody Kaspa wallet. The wallet provides both the cryptographic identity foundation and the ability to send and receive KAS.

Use Kaspa without making crypto an entry barrier

KBeam combines a straightforward messenger experience with optional KAS payments and self-custody.
